NATO SOF Intelligence Course (NSIC) event image

The NSIC is designed to introduce NATO SOF analysts to the fundamentals of all-source intelligence analysis, critical thinking, research techniques, socio-cultural dynamics, and various tools to support NATO SOF missions. Various databases and tools include BICES navigation, link analysis programs, and geospatial mechanisms typically employed in a NATO SOF environment.  This course maintains an emphasis on asymmetric warfare, and will enhance intelligence capabilities of NATO SOF intelligence personnel.

This course is designed for officers (OF-2 to OF-3) and senior NCOs (OR-7 to OR-8) who will work in the intelligence career field, or require increased familiarization of the intelligence processes and applications.

It is recommended that students have a familiarization with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, as the curriculum is computer-centric. Students should have a 3322 in English language skills, and should be comfortable speaking English in front of groups.
