(NSOF-91) NATO SOF Advisor and Liaison Workshop


This workshop will be conducted as an MET at Joint Force Command BRUNSSUM (JFCBS)

The NATO SOF Advisor and Liaison Workshop is a 5-day workshop.

The NATO SOF Advisor and Liaison Officer/Liaison Element Workshop is a venue for Liaison officers, members of a SOF liaison element and SOF advisors to receive specific education, initial training in LO- and SOFAD duties, and to share best practices and lessons learned.

This workshop is designed for officers, NCOs, and civilians selected to serve as NATO SOF LOs, SOFADs, and members of NATO SOF Liaison elements. Participants should possess subject matter expertise in both national and NATO SOF policy and doctrine for their functional area and have a proven ability to work and collaborate in a multinational environment.

Though there is no mandatory requirement, it is recommended that participants should have previous experience as a member of a national SOCC or equivalent HQ or have successfully completed the SOCC Staff Course.

In addition to a 3322 in English language skill, participants should be comfortable speaking English in front of groups to participate in this workshop.
