Strengthening Strategic Readiness: NATO Special Operations Forces Leaders Convene in Poland
KRAKOW, Poland - The NATO Special Operations Senior Leaders’ Conference, held from April 9-11, 2024, brought together esteemed representatives from over 32 NATO Allied and Partner nations in Krakow, Poland. This bi-annual gathering stands as a pivotal platform for fostering dialogue and collaboration among Special Operations Forces (SOF) Commanders and Command Senior Enlisted Leaders.
Discussions delved into key areas aimed at bolstering NATO's deterrence and defence capabilities. These included the implementation of Regional Plans in support of the Concept for Deterrence and Defence of the Euro-Atlantic, refining command and control strategies, optimizing force generation dynamics, and enhancing national contributions to Alliance objectives.
The conference underscored the indispensable role of Special Operations Forces in preserving regional stability and deterring potential threats. Participants engaged in robust exchanges, sharing insights and best practices to bolster interoperability and readiness across the NATO SOF enterprise.

As the conference co-host, Maj. Gen.
