Course Information

NATO Special Operations Air Task Group Course (SOATGC)

Description: The NATO SOATGC is designed to prepare SOF aircrew and designated support staff to operate as part of a functioning SOATG within a NATO  environment.  The course provides the students with an overview of the function and utility of an SOATG as well as the knowledge and tools to plan, employ, and integrate special air warfare focused on current and future operations within a NATO SOF C2 structure.

The NATO SOATGC builds the basic skills and knowledge required for SOF aircrew and assigned personnel to operate in the NATO SOF operational environment as part of an established SOF air C2 structure, be it a SOAC, a SOCC J3 air cell, or a SOATG  HQ.
