The course provides students with an introduction to the threats facing NATO's SOF allies in digital environments and cover the nexus between the digital, cognitive, and physical environments.

The increased use of social media coupled with advances in data collection and aggregation capabilities often undermines Operational Security and leaves forces vulnerable to adversaries intent on acquiring and exploiting sensitive critical information. Digital Force Protection (DFP) awareness and education are critical to protect Alliance SOF operators, their support, and their families.

This course has a computer heavy curriculum.

In addition to a 3322 in English language skill, students should be comfortable speaking English in front of groups to participate in this course.

Students must have a NATO JADL account to take this course.  It is recommended you sign up for a JADL account as soon as you are enrolled in the course.  Please visit https://jadl.act.nato.int/ to register for an account.  You may register with an official military/government email or a commercial email.  Prior to registering with a commercial email address, please contact the Course Director for additional instructions.
